"studying" at barnes and noble with stephen...someone had filled the fountain w/ soap - we bumped the age appropriate 5/6-year-olds out of the way and dug in!

24 year old medical student at loma linda university - currently on my family medicine rotation in hanford, ca. things i LOVE: the crisp of fall; the clean smells of fresh snow, homebaked bread, laundry; vibrant sunsets at the beach; sleeping under the stars; clean bathrooms; waking up and realizing i can still sleep for an hour longer; having my brother and sister as two of my closest friends; the moment i realize i've just mastered a difficult concept; cold, moody beaches; quirky local coffee shop/cafe with a good book and a free morning; jeans & sweatshirts; finding the perfect song to fit my mood; the peace of outdoor solitude; a bubble bath in the middle of the day; stomach-ache inducing laughter; sitting on the kitchen floor with our lab, rose, while my mom makes dinner; running in the rain.

was there mockery in your poetry, little guy? 'cause as your big sister, i should deserve a bit more respect! ah, well, i embrace my simple pleasures!
